WWTV is a private regional broadcaster in Rhineland-Palatinate. The different broadcast center of the two regional channels TV Mittelrhein and WWTV is the media house in Urbar near Koblenz. In November 2000 three regional television stations in Rhineland-Palatinate, Channel 10, WWTV and MYK-TV merged to form a new channel "TVT1". The merger, which however did not guarantee better use and the new sender, in order to concentrate on the own region with the own program. In 2008 the political television Mittelrhein received a WWTV.


From June of the same year to December 2012, both programs were available across Europe via the Astra 1M satellite. In 2010, the headquarters of the Ransbach-Baumbach company on the right bank of the Rhine and thus geographically part of the Westerwald-Urbar was relocated; since 2009 it has been its own media house. On February 1, 2013, the view was transferred to the newly founded DRF Deutschland Fernsehen Produktions GmbH & Co. KG. The television content has been redesigned according to current and regional guidelines so that it can also be seen by the public.
