QVC (stands for "Quality Value Convenience") is an American free television network and flagship shopping channel, owned by the Qurate Retail Group, specializing in TV home shopping. Founded in 1986 by Joseph Segel in West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA, QVC broadcasts to more than 350 million households in seven countries, including channels in the UK, Germany, Japan and Italy, as well as a joint venture with China National in China. He called the CNR Shopping Center.
QVC was founded on June 13, 1986 by Joseph Segel. Sears was one of the first brands to sign a two-year agreement with QVC for their products. The company then set a new record for the first full annual financial sales of a new $ 112 million publicly traded company.
