Nigeria - Emmanuel TV Live

Emmanuel TV is a Christian television network headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded by T. Joshua, Pastor of the Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Synagogue in Lagos, Nigeria. It is also the most subscribed Christian ministry YouTube channel worldwide with over 1,000,000 subscribers as of January 2019. It was founded on March 8, 2007.

In the late 1990s, SCOAN began to gain international attention with the distribution of videotapes showing excerpts from Joshua's early ministry and alleged miracles. In addition, Joshua began regularly broadcasting programs supposedly showing "miracles" on local Nigerian television.

However, when Nigeria's National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), on behalf of then President Olusegun Obasanjo, controversially banned the airing of "Miracles" in 2004, most of its programming was filmed. This ultimately paved the way for Emmanuel TV to emerge in March 2007.

Since its inception, Emmanuel TV has broadcast Christian programs, claiming that its mission is to "preach the Good News to all mankind." From humble beginnings, it quickly developed into one of Africa's most famous brands and popular TV stations. On his profile on Joshua, the BBC described him as "Nigeria's most famous TV evangelist."
