France - CNews France

CNews (CNEWS, previously stylized as i> Télé) is a free French news channel published by Canal + Group on November 4, 1999. It provides national and world news 24 hours a day. It is the second most-watched news channel in France after BFM TV, before LCI and France Info. I> Télé was renamed CNews on February 27, 2017.

Since March 19, 2018, CNEWS has been broadcast in HD on the 2011 channel by satellite provider DirecTV in the United States. This is part of the FrenchDirect premium package.

CNews, the satirical and investigative media "Le Canard Enchaîné" and the activist group "Sleeping Giants France", owned by Groupe Bolloré and Vincent Bolloré, openly support conservative and far-right journalists who support racist discourse. Eric Zemmour, in particular, was convicted of racial hate crimes on September 17, 2020.
