On January 1, 1972, it began broadcasting on the whole country.

On April 25, 2014, Channel 7 launched its high-definition television signal on its digital terrestrial television (DTT) system on channel 35. Three years later, on June 19, 2017, Channel 7 received authorization from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission to close its analog frequencies in the rest of the country, to replace them with its digital channels on DTT. Therefore, the network was expected to stop broadcasting in analog on January 1, 2018, but the process was postponed until May 16, 2018, and was finally completed on June 16.
